There’s really nothing quite like the innocence of a child. Their perspective on things can be humbling and exhilarating and often comes as a flash to our brains, like seeing something for the very first time.
We love being involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire. They have been one of our biggest supporters since Day One of Scratchpad. So when they asked us to get involved in a design competition for their kids that would result in our printing some Tees and selling them as a fundraiser, we didn’t hesitate to say yes.
We weren’t quite expecting to be blown away by the submitted artwork like we were, and we were especially unprepared for “Roni’s View”, a 9-year old’s take on South Dakota’s treasured national monument. As native South Dakotans we’ve seen thousands Mount Rushmore photos in our lifetime. This perspective is special.
So we’re selling this one to raise money for BGC and give Roni a little taste of fame on a local level. 15% of your purchase price will go back to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire.
